INDICATIONS

The FlowMedic FM220 system is indicated to improve blood circulation in the lower extremities to help prevent and reduce complications of poor circulation.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

The FlowMedic FM220 system should not be used by patients younger than 18 years or by a patient with the following known or suspected diseases:

• Deep vein thrombosis
• Pulmonary embolism
• Congestive heart failure
• Thrombophlebitis
• Gangrene
• Vein ligation
• Recent skin graft
• Acute ischemia due to arterial blood clots
• When increased venous or lymphatic return is undesirable
• Superficial phlebitis
• Cellulitis
• Osteomyelitis
• Venous insufficiency
• Injured skin
• Calf not sensitive to pain
• Pulmonary edema
